The St. Brigid’s Cross is still made in Ireland today and those made by Naomh Padraig are among the finest. It is a tradition in Ireland to place a St. Brigid Cross over the doorway of a home and is believed to bless and protect the "comings and the goings". A sweet tradition to carry on and makes a lovely gift for newlyweds or a first home. The weaving by Naomh Padraig is well known in Ireland and it is our pleasure to showcase her work.
"On behalf of all the students and staff at St. Brigid School, I would like to thank you for your donation of 20 St. Brigid's Crosses. The Crosses will be placed in each of the classrooms" Portland,ME
